My name is Emmanuel Kangolo. I am also known as Ekayy or Hundo.
I began my journey in the media industry in 2021. I did not map it out in advance. The direction came to me with clarity and urgency. I chose to follow it with full commitment.
I started with limited resources. I worked with a broken iPhone X. No budget. No team. No safety net. I relied on consistency and discipline. I focused on learning, improving, and producing content every day.
HundoFacts began as a small idea. It grew through effort and repetition. Each project built a skill. Each mistake shaped better decisions. Over time, the work gained attention and respect.
Today, HundoFilms and HundoFacts stand as a personal brand. They represent growth, resilience, and identity. They reflect a clear vision and a strong work ethic.
I aim higher. I plan to expand into global media. I plan to build a name that reaches millions. I plan to lead projects that influence culture and set new standards.
I do not wait for perfect conditions. I create results with what I have. I stay consistent. I stay focused. I keep building.
One thing I would say as advice.
In secondary school, people expect you to know who you want to be. I spent seven years thinking music was my path. I was locked into that idea. Then I changed direction.
Sometimes all it takes is a shift. A decision. A different focus.
If you do not believe in yourself, you limit your outcome before you even begin. Your mindset sets the ceiling.
Photography gave me clarity. It helped me mentally. It helped me physically. It gave me structure and purpose. I found something that felt right and I committed to it.
Now I want to take it further.
I want to share my photography style with a wider audience. I want my work to reach people beyond my circle. I want to build something that lasts.
I also want to give back.
I plan to run workshops in youth clubs and schools. I want young people to see the media in a different way. I want them to understand the value of creativity and expression. I want to help improve how media is taught, with real experience and practical skills.
